Our Golf and Wine package has proved immensely popular with increasing numbers of our guests.
Even for the expert, there’s always more to learn about the fabulous wine of France.
As well as playing golf in beautiful surroundings blessed by magnificent weather, you may wish to take part in wine seminars at the club, where experts will share their love and knowledge of wine with you.
And we will also take you to the coalface, or should that be the grape-face?
A typical tour might consist of a visit to two of the oldest and best-know chateaux in world famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
We would travel by coach for tastings and tours of the ancient caves at Château La Nerthe and Château Vaudieu, the largest producer of the lesser-known white Châteauneuf du Pape.
The tastings would be followed by a traditional Provençal lunch at the nearby Château des Fines Roches, with its stunning views.
Or for the real wine buffs there’s an opportunity for a serious tasting with the wine makers in the dedicated tasting suite of Château Pesquié followed by a picnic lunch of local produce under plane trees in the chateau grounds – then back to the club to swim, play a quick nine before dinner, or just chill out.
